The feedback and review system has been rigged for good, every turd is depicted as being a gold apple, only weapon for us consumer - wait and see. What do we learn from this ? Unless you trust the producer (one name: From Software) dont preorder, dont buy on release, wait always 2-3 weeks. It is what it is, a buggy game pushed from the publisher using reddit, forbes etc in an attempt to at least mititgate the financial debacle. And slowly but surely the honeymoon will fade over, the (paid) press releases will try to squeeze some more cash out of the usual gullible, uninformed or cash whales - and then ? Of course this is what it is, a first attempt at looter shooter, with good ideas probably (we cannot play the game as the servers does not work), which in the 30 $ range may have been interesting. Fast forward to release date: Money has been paid (and at a AAA+ price), the cat is in the bag and people are left with a non-working game (servers) and when it works the mountain of all bugs never addressed in the beta. That the game was suddendly in the xbox game pass its a red flag as big as the ever given ship btw. Peppered with gems like "I like it even more because its so buggy and does not work I love it". And btw if someone raised some legitimate questions (for example, today day 3 after release, still a ban on press reviews, or the servers not working after 3 days) - barrage of "its the same for all the other games" or "its fauit of Azure" and downvotes. But (wonder how) tons of positive review, what a great game, what a great developer this is, and they really talk to us, we are so lucky - including a shill article on Forbes that concluded basically "even if this game does not work is great" - probably this was too much even for the journalist. Normally the reddit community for example would have ripped that apart. This game had a month-long Beta where tons of problems came to light - from the basic (janky movements of the character, cam-shaking to make you want to swith off your tv) to the real meaty ones (loot lost, char resets, coop not working, lag a nightmare with teleporting the norm, no concept for shared loot and so on). This game had a month-long Beta where tons of problems came to light - from A textbook example of "pushing" a product in the new economy.

This patch drops next week so no major issues will be fixed until then, it seems.A textbook example of "pushing" a product in the new economy. I don’t love that.Īnyway, that’s the round-up. Even they say they don’t know for sure if these nerfs will be too far or not. I get moving fast, which is a nice change of pace from other games, but this is really fast, and seems kind of unnecessary.

I don’t know how I feel about nerfing a bunch of builds just a week into the launch of the game when barely a handful of players have even made it that far, and there has barely even been time to formulate the full range of builds, much less try out overpowered ones for most players. The class is currently being booted out of endgame parties for not being strong enough, but no buffs have been announced. Same thing I guess with Volcanic Rounds.ĭevastator: Nothing. Pyromancer: "Trial of Ashes" has been reduced 15% extra damage (Previously: 30%).

In short, tox spreading builds were too strong with Blighted Rounds. Technomancer: "Damage Against Poison" has had its power reduced to 15% (Previously: 30%), and Vulnerable is now a 15% debuff instead of 25%.

They think these skills stacked with Twisted Rounds too well for too much damage. Trickster: Disruptive Firepower, Scion of Power, Outrider Executioner - have had their power reduced to 35% (Previously: 50%). They think bullet builds are too good and permanent uptime on them is too easy to achieve. Trickster: The base cooldown of the Twisted Rounds skill has increased to 25 seconds (Previously: 16 seconds). Tooka Beast, Splittooth, Sandshifter and Coldclaw were “too generous” and will now drop less stuff when farmed. The Chem Plant and Boom Town expeditions are getting their Bronze/Silver/Gold timers shortened meaning it will be harder to earn higher tiers of rewards. This is apparently due to some sort of bug where people were exploiting it for mass legendaries, but this is exceedingly annoying because it was a great, reliable source of legendaries (through a lot of effort) in a game that has few if any targeted loot sources. You can no longer repeat the hunt/collector/assassination quests for legendaries. In short, even in just a week of play, they already believe some builds are overperforming and some loot sources are too generous. People Can Fly has already started swinging the nerf hammer, as they did a bit during the demo, and a lot of popular builds and classes are being hit.
